Rachel Juat-De Leon
With 17 years of experience in analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, and Information Technology, Rachel has had extensive exposure in solving complex problems through data and analytics across industries and business functions such as Marketing, Digital, Sales/Distribution, Product Development, Pricing, Finance, Operations, and Human Resources.
Rachel started her career in the field of analytics at one of the leading telecommunications companies in the Philippines. There, she pioneered data analytics support and institutionalized reporting processes for various business groups. She was also instrumental in the set-up of a Business Intelligence team for a multinational financial institution with the goal of improving operational and cost efficiency.
The first Filipino who qualified for and completed Master of Science in Business Analytics at NYU’s Stern School of Business, Rachel is now an expert in data mining, data visualization, advanced analytics, big data, CRM, and project management. Further to formally acquiring knowledge in this field, she has solid experience in strategy formulation focused on analytics capabilities and building high-performing analytics/data science teams. She is proficient in the use of analytics tools such as SAS, R, Python, Tableau and Power BI.
Now freelancing to help organizations of various sizes to leverage data, Rachel is now an Adjunct Professor at the Asian Institute of Management sharing her profound knowledge in Data & Analytics. Her genuine appreciation for data and how it can positively help organizational growth allow her to build capabilities across people, processes and technology.
