For the past 12 years, Rea has made use of data and its analyses in the numerous management programs she spearheaded. She started her career in the United States as an Engineering Technician with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works – Waterworks Division (LACWD). At LACWD, she handled projects with the aim of having more efficient water supply distribution within the Antelope Valley and Malibu regions. She moved up to managing the Water Use Efficiency unit paying attention to feedback, reports, innovation, and technology. Being data-driven, Rea made good use of these to effectively preside over water conservation programs. Such included educational assemblies, workshops, surveys, rebates, outreach campaigns and even presentations at regional conferences.
Given her notable contribution to the organization, she was recognized for her exemplary work performance and was awarded Employee of the Month; a feather on her cap for being an expert in program development and process optimization.
Rea’s expertise in the field of process engineering allows her to help businesses move towards a progressive route, paying attention to relevant figures and trends.
